In episode 6 of the 5by5 podcast Geek Friday, Faith mentioned that people love the intro sound, and even used it as their ringtone.

I love it too and thought that was a great idea, but I had to re-google how to convert an mp3 into a ringtone. The whole thing took more than 2 seconds, so.. if you’re too busy, here you go:

It starts with a bit of static, so I used time index 0:04 – 0:34 of the original Crookshanks mp3.

On Friday, 12 August 2011, My wife gave birth to our second child, a healthy baby girl, Marla June Benjamin. Everybody is doing great.

I’ll be taking a couple of weeks off and while I’m out, my friend, fellow podcaster Ryan Irelan will be standing in for me as co-host for all of my shows. Although they won’t stream live, they’ll all still be released over the course of the week.
